Inquiry Based Learning – Home School Tip of the Day #10

Hope you’ve had an awesome hump day!🐫

Brian’s back with another tip for all you parents at home attempting to help teach the kids! Luckily, most school and teachers have started virtual classrooms, but if you’re still helping move things along today’s topic might be right up your alley.

Inquiry-based learning is an approach to learning that emphasizes the student’s role in the learning process. Rather than the teacher telling students what they need to know, students are encouraged to explore the material, ask questions, and share ideas.

Now, this might mean you need to get a little more involved and prepared, but it shouldn’t take a whole lot of time to be in a position to encourage the kids to explore the material.

How’s home school going for you??
