Did you know our polyurethane foam is made up of two separate components and doesn’t turn to foam until it is mixed at the tip of the gun?
In this week’s #FoundationRepair #TipOfTheDay Brian discusses our polyurethane foam and how it’s made up of two separate chemicals. The chemicals react at the tip of the gun and don’t even turn into foam until that point! The two components are diphenylmethane and a B-component resin. We use different variations of this polyurethane for different applications like lifting, void fill, wall insulation, and waterproofing. The components can be mixed in different ratios to change the foam’s expanded density and its reaction times. Stay tuned for more tips this week as Brian takes a deeper dive into our polyurethane foams!
